Use canned chicken and a bag of steamed vegetables and mix the filling right in the baking dish for lazy week nights when you're low on clean dishes! Curried Rice - Cooked Like Spanish Rice. Posted: 14 Sep 2015 02:26 PM PDT White Rice with Curry Powder, Goya Red Kidney Beans and some Chicken/Pork - Cooked like Spanish Rice (You can substitute as you want with Proteins). **note **It's important that your Caldero (or similar) pot has a firm fitting lid - steam should not escape from it. If it does - put foil over the pot then put cover on top of that. The water below is what works for my Caldero pot and gas stove set up - adjust to your situation.
