Garlic Chicken for Two

Posted: 01 Dec 2013 12:15 PM PST

Modified from EatingWell: May/June 2012. The original recipe called for chicken drumsticks. The whole cloves of garlic turn mild and buttery when they’re simmered with chicken in a simple white wine-mustard sauce in this garlic chicken recipe for two. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice, and green beans or broccoli. -- posted by Kerfuffle-Upon-Wincle

Turkey Tetrazzini (Can Use Chicken Too) Pioneer Woman Ree Drummo

Posted: 02 Dec 2013 08:49 AM PST

This recipe is from the bookThe Pioneer Woman Cooks A Year of Holidays by Ree Drummond. It is really a nice rendition of the turkey tetrazzini dish to make for an easy meal, to use leftovers, or just have yourself a little comfort food. The recipe is not low cal but the flavors come together beautifully. You can sub in chicken for the turkey too. A family favorite any time. -- posted by ChefDLH
