Lamb Loin Chops with Mint Chimichurri Posted: 12 Feb 2014 09:25 PM PST When you get older birthdays seem to lose their importance. We’re no longer in such a hurry to grow up. (“How old are you?” “Eight and three-quarters!”) Time flies faster and it seems like we just had a birthday a month ago so what’s the big deal. Our minds, filled with a lifetime of useful and useless data, don’t have room for much else, like remembering how old we actually are. Posted: 12 Feb 2014 08:54 PM PST When I first moved into my house, everyone advised me to pull out the mint that was growing in pockets here and there around the yard. The rebel in me refused to do so, thinking, “I love mint! I’ll use it in cooking.” (Gardeners reading this are laughing about now.) Let’s just say that mint grows very well indeed, and is especially well suited to containers, where it cannot send out runners and take over every nook and cranny in a yard.
